Remuneration
Legal services are normally provided on an hourly basis, for the hourly rate agreed with the client. In such a case, the expected extent of the provided services is agreed with the client, if this is possible from the nature of the legal matter, so that the client always has an overview of the costs which are about to be incurred.
If it is possible to sufficiently estimate the scope of the legal services to be provided, it is possible to agree with the client a fixed remuneration for such services.
In case of larger projects or long-term cooperation, a flat fee can be agreed with the client (eg. monthly), which allows the client to be provided with legal services to a certain extent on advantageous terms.
If the contractual fee for legal services is not agreed with the client, the lawyer is entitled to a non-contractual fee determined on the basis of the Regulation No. 177/1996 Coll., on fees and remuneration of lawyers for the provision of legal services (thelawyer´s tariff). This Regulation specifically sets the price for individual acts of the legal service, taking into account the nature of the case or, for example, the value of the monetary consideration.
Whencharging for legal services, the client is provided with invoice and therelated list of legal services so that the client always has a clear idea of the scope of legal services and their price.
